How the Inman Aligner works

Two coil springs drive an inner bow and an outer bow that squeeze the front teeth gently together from both sides. The teeth are guided into line by a constant, light force with a large working range, which is why movement happens quickly.

Unlike a series of Invisalign aligners, you wear one appliance throughout, adjusted at review appointments.

Is it right for you?

It is a focused solution: excellent for the classic case of two or three crowded or protruding upper front teeth, unsuitable for bite correction or for movement further back in the mouth. Where the case is broader, Invisalign or fixed braces will produce a better outcome.

Common questions

Inman Aligner: your questions answered

How quickly does the Inman Aligner work?

Most suitable cases complete in 6 to 18 weeks, making it one of the fastest ways to correct crowded front teeth.

Is it visible?

A thin metal bar sits across the front of the teeth, so it is more visible than a clear aligner. Because it is removable you can take it out for short periods, though wear time directly affects results.

Will I need a retainer?

Yes. As with any orthodontic treatment, teeth will relapse without retention. Retainers are £100.
